Work in Progress Gardens

Located in the Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin, this ADS display garden consists of over 1,000 registered daylily cultivars and many companion plants. This is a hybridizers’ garden with thousands of seedlings in various stages of growth and evaluation.
West Madison Agriculture Research Station
Madison, WI.
The Wisconsin Daylily Society has just shy of 500 different cultivars in seven colorful beds at this unique location. This facility focuses on plant breeding, student training and community outreach.
Vendor Ridge Gardens

Don’t let the small size of this garden fool you. Over, 2,000 named cultivars are grown on this 1/3 acre lot, along with a few seedlings, guest plants, test plants for four different hybridizers, carnivorous bogs, a frog pond and metal art.
Hosta Haven
Char and Randy Hanson, Winsor. WI.
Hosta Haven has approximately 80 daylilies on a half-acre lot that abuts a peaceful wooded area. This garden also boasts over 775 varieties of hostas, from miniatures to giants.
Gemutlichkeit Garden
Monique Warnke, Windsor, WI.
This garden features an overflowing display of lilies, daylilies and companion plants. Follow the limestone steps to the top of the garden for a spectacular view. The Englerth Bed and sculptures by local artist Thomas Skupiewitz are featured.

The Beautiful Path Garden
The Beautiful Path Garden is a city gem displaying ~250 cultivars and numerous Hosta plants under a 3 story Norway Spruce. Beautiful pathways take you around the garden for easy viewing and the back garden can also be viewed from an upstairs sunroom which provides an interesting view of the layout.
Bending Hill Farm
Linda Shields and Dan Hernday, Mukwonago, WI.
In fourteen different gardens, Bending Hill Farm holds approximately 1600 vintage and modern daylilies. Come view these wonders as you stroll through gardens such as the Stout Silver Medal Garden, the Historics Only Garden with daylilies created before 2000, or the Pink Park featuring a hundred pink daylilies.
